Tooth pain


One of the vital parts of the human body is the mouth. All the components of the mouth, that is, teeth, tongue and the salivary glands are important. Topical fluorides can also be used to treat the problem. A natural remedy for tooth cavity pain is garlic. It can be found easily at home. Garlic contains allicin. This has antibiotic properties. It prevents bacteria from multiplying. If the damage is severe, the dentist would perform a root canal treatment.
If filling of the tooth cavity is loose, the person might suffer from extreme tooth pain. Some patients also suffer from pain after they have undergone root canal treatment. These patients experience a sharp pain when they bite food. The loose filing should be replaced in this case. The person should have patience and understand that the pain is temporary. The person can take pain killers in medium dose to get some relief.

Tooth pain can also be caused due to gum disease. The inflammation in the gums can sometimes spread to the adjacent bones. To treat this dentists use a technique called tissue regeneration. They use techniques like bone re-growth and bone grafting. Extreme pain in a particular tooth can also be caused due to receding gums. The teeth roots are exposed due to gum recession. This disorder can be treated by covering the exposed regions.

Tooth pain is not always caused by the disorders of gums and teeth. Tooth pain can also be caused due to ear infections, heart disease and sinus infections. Neurological conditions can also result into tooth pain. So it is necessary to detect the reason behind tooth pain and then start the treatment.
